課程概述

台灣在1980年代末期開始的民主深化過程中，民眾參與和地方分權的想法逐步挑戰傳統官僚主義的政府體制，其中尤以1994年以後的社區總體營造政策最受矚目，十多年的努力，似乎在政策推動上與學術研究上都面臨了難以突破的瓶頸。本課程有別於大學部著重於社區參與實務，而以學術角度引導研究生找出理論發展的可行途徑。課程主題將著重於回答：永續社區營造如何理論化？基於這些理論，有些什麼實用的研究意涵？有那些的個案值得我們探討? 又未來的研究思路為何？本課程將引導學生思考和提升解決社區問題的能力。 

課程目標
 本課程著重邏輯思維的訓練，透過文獻研讀、問題啟發、研究架構和實證操作的模擬過程，期能建立學生研究興趣及研究方向。 
課程要求
 (1)研討報告：由同學分六次報告文獻研讀結果。
(2)參加五次貴賓演講，對演講內容提出看法與心得，每次以一頁A4為限。
(3)提出研究方向，以計畫書作為期末報告：請於01/04中午12:00前繳交至彭老師辦公室，逾期將扣分。
